Zlatan Ibrahimovic guides Sweden past Denmark to reach Euro 2016 [Best Tweets]

In a career littered with league titles and amazing goals, Zlatan Ibrahimovic may have outdone himself.

Before the first leg against Denmark on Saturday, Zlatan looked somewhat emotional and the PSG striker has said on a number of occasions that reaching Euro 2016 means a lot to him.

On Tuesday night, Zlatan almost single handedly took Sweden to France next summer with a virtuoso display.

Having scored a penalty in the first leg to give Sweden a 2-1 win in the first leg at home, Denmark only needed to win 1-0 to go through.

But, Zlatan scored the opener on 19 minutes to seriously deflate the Danish home support.

On 76 minutes, Zlatan killed the tie with a brilliant free-kick that gave Andreas Isaksson no chance at all.

Denmark pulled two back but ultimately Zlatan was too good for his Scandinavian neighbours.

In retrospect, the fact this tie was built up as a clash between Zlatan and Lord Bendtner, was slightly embarrassing!

See how Twitter reacted to a stunning display from Zlatan below…

Brilliant free-kick from Zlatan. Sweden reach Euro 2016. Zlatan adds another legendary performance to an insane career.
