40 year old British-born/Ghanaian TV actor and model Sam Sarpong died in Southern California after jumping to his death from a bridge on Monday afternoon in Pasadena, where he lived. The Los Angeles County coroner's office says the case is being investigated as a possible suicide. But the official cause hasn't been determined yet. Pasadena police say he jumped from the Colorado Street Bridge following seven hours of attempts to talk him down. Sarpong had a series of small roles in movies and TV shows, including "Bones" and "Boston Public" and co-hosted MTV's 2006 show, "Yo Momma." He was also Omoni Oboli's husband in the movie, Anchor Baby. He was also a model for Tommy Hilfiger and other fashion brands, he was also the first black male model to do a Louis Vuitton editorial campaign. He is survived by his father and his sister June Sappington.

If you watch Yoruba movies, then you must be very familiar with them. After one year of his twin brother's passing, the other brother of Yoruba actors popular known as 'Ibeji Oran' has died. According to a LIB source, Taiwo died a few days ago and has been buried in his house at Owode along Ilesa, Osun State.

His twin brother, Kehinde died exactly one year ago, in October 2014. Both twins who starred in a popular Yoruba film 'Ide' were in their early 40's. He is survived by a daughter born to him by his ex-wife, Folake. May their souls rest in peace, amen.

Woman stabs Pastor to Death in Calabar for Trying to Rape Her During Deliverance

Indeed, wonders shall never end! A pastor from Cross River State, identified as Pastor Oliver Akpan has been stabbed to death by a woman who claims he tried to r*pe her during a deliverance session.

According to reports, Pastor Akpan, married with six children, had long been suspected to sleep with some of his church members, both the married ones and the single ladies but unfortunately for him he met his match in the woman identified as Mrs. Ekamma, who is also married with two children.

Mrs Ekamma had gone to the Pastor to seek help over some spiritual attack she was facing and Pastor Akpan had recommended a three day dry fasting for the woman to be carried out in the church and on the final day, have a spiritual bath to ward off the evil spirit.

After going through the fast, the pastor led the woman to a stream to have the spiritual bath...

But he had other ideas in mind as he was said to have told the woman that part of the bath included having s*x with her but when she refused, he attempted to forcefully have his way with another man's wife.

As the woman tried to free herself, she allegedly picked up a sharp stick and stabbed him in the stomach, before running to the village to alert other members of the community.

By the time they got to the spot, the wounded pastor had lost consciousness as he bled profusely. He was rushed to a hospital where doctors confirmed he died before he was brought in.

The woman was initially arrested by police but was released on bail while investigation is still on going.

The poor girl smoked something that she couldn't handle and before anyone could stop her, she stripped naked and started performing naked at a parked eatery. Instead of the women to cover her up, they poured drinks on her and cheered her on while the men started to touch. Watch video

39-year-old Chamberlin Ojoko, has been arrested after he allegedly gave his pregnant girlfriend, Chinonye Ella, 25, a local abortion concoction. The concoction caused fatal adverse reaction that resulted in her death, on July 20, 2015. Ojoko was alleged to have calmly gone home to borrow a shovel from his brother, Pastor Sopuruchi and buried the corpse of the deceased girlfriend in a shallow grave, which he dug at the back of an uncompleted building owned by one Dr Maduakolam Ukaegbu, a kinsman. According to the Imo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Taiwo Lakanu, the chain of events that ultimately led to the untimely death of Chinonye began the day she boarded the same bus with Ojoko in December 2014, at Achingali, in Obowo Local Government Area, Imo State. They chatted along the way as the trip progressed and then exchanged phone numbers. While Chinonye lived in Umuahia, Ojoko on his part resided in Port Harcourt. Over the intervening period, Ojoko regularly invited her to Owerri, where they would lodge in a hotel and have fun. After each visit, he would give her N3,000 to N4,000 to cover her transportation costs. This continued until Chinonye informed him that she had become pregnant.
Apparently, the news that she had conceived was not well received by Ojoko, who set about sourcing for a local concoction, probably after convincing her on the need to abort the innocent unborn child. Lakanu explained further that on July 20, 2015, the suspect took Chinonye to an uncompleted building at Ezeakam Eziudo, his community, where he gave her the local abortion concoction. Within hours, her condition became critical as intense pain wracked her body, particularly around the stomach. At the headquarters of the Imo State Police Command, where he is being held in custody while investigations continue, Ojoko recounted to Sunday Sun, what happened that fateful night he gave his girlfriend the abortion concoction. He said: “On July 20, 2015, I took my girlfriend to an uncompleted building around 6:30pm. My girlfriend took the herbal medicine, but later she started writhing in pain. Then she died. I ran to my house and took a shovel; I carried her body to the side of the building. I dug the ground and buried her in a shallow grave.” Believing in his heart that he had covered his deed like Cain, who killed his brother Abel, Ojoko returned to Port Harcourt, to the warm embrace of his unsuspecting and pregnant wife. But unknown to him, a certain little girl had seen him carry out the dead body of Chinonye, and dump it in the grave he dug. The little girl later told the owner of the building about the horrific crime she saw. After the shock of the revelation wore off, Dr. Ukaegbu ran to the Ezinihitte police station to report what he was told by the girl. The police station contacted the Head of the Homicide Unit at the Imo State headquarters in Owerri, Supol Innocent Obi, who led his men, Pastor Sopuruchi Ojoko (brother of the suspect) and Dr. Ukaegbu, to Port Harcourt, where Chamberlain Ojoko was arrested. Giving further insight to the incident, brother of the suspect, Pastor Sopuruchi Ojoko, told Sunday Sun: “I saw my brother Chamberlin Ojoko and his girlfriend on that day around 3.00pm. They didn’t enter our house in the compound; instead they walked toward Eziudo road. About 9:00pm, I saw that my elder brother, Chamberlin, returned to the house without the girl. “He requested for shovel and took it to the bush. He didn’t return till 11:00pm. I asked him where he was coming from at that late hour; he said he went to the toilet. I asked him, why he came to the village without informing us. He replied that he was working at the building site. I saw bruises and wounds on his hand. When information got to us that my elder brother murdered his girlfriend, I had to take the policemen to Port-Harcourt to arrest him.” On August 15, 2015, the body of the deceased girlfriend was exhumed and autopsy conducted. The policemen discovered how he used the deceased girlfriend’s cloth to choke her. There were stains of the victim’s blood at the uncompleted building. The police also learnt that the suspect threw away the handset of the deceased girlfriend. As it stands now, Lakanu said the Command is concerned to locate the relations of the deceased given that her handset which could have offered assistance in this regard was thrown away by the suspect. “We want members of the public to assist us and provide information that would help us find the relations of the deceased. We learnt from the suspect that the deceased resided in Umuahia, Abia State, before her demise,” Lakanu pleaded.

Two months after Bobbi Kristina Brown died under a cloud of suspicion that led to accusations of wrongdoing, authorities in Georgia say they now know how she died -- but they aren't saying. "The Fulton County Medical Examiner has classified the cause and manner of Bobbi Kristina Brown's death," the office said in a September 25 press release. "However, a Fulton County Superior Court Order dated September 25, 2015 has been received Sealing the Autopsy Report and ordering the Medical Examiner to not release any further information to the public." The only child of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown died in July, six months after being placed in a medically induced coma for injuries sustained at her suburban Atlanta home. The 22-year-old was found January 31 in an eerily similar manner to how her music legend mother was discovered dead three years before: facedown and unresponsive in a bathtub full of water. Speculation about what had happened began immediately, much of it swirling around boyfriend Nick Gordon. Brown's estate has filed a $10 million wrongful death lawsuit against Gordon, alleging he beat her after an all-night "cocaine and drinking binge," before giving her a "toxic cocktail" that knocked her out, according to the suit. Gordon has never been charged in relation to Brown's death, and his legal team called the lawsuit "slanderous and meritless." In his first public remarks since his daughter's death, Bobby Brown said in a talk show appearance this month that he is creating a center for victims of domestic violence in Bobbi Kistina's memory. Turkey has started three days of mourning after two bomb blasts at a peace rally in Ankara killed 95 people and wounded 245 others. The twin explosions occurred seconds apart outside the capital's main train station on Saturday morning as hundreds of people calling for an end to violence between Kurdish rebels and Turkish security forces were gathering for the march. There has been no claim of responsibility for the attack - the worst in Turkey's history - but Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said there were "strong signs" that the blasts were suicide bombings. He suggested that Kurdish rebels or Islamic State militants were to blame. Overnight, thousands of protesters gathered near Istanbul's main square denouncing the attacks and also holding the government responsible.
Some demonstrators chanted "Murderer Erdogan" - referring to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who many people accuse of increasing tensions with Kurds to profit at the ballot box in November. Mr Erdogan strongly denies the accusations. The Turkish government imposed a temporary news blackout covering images that showed the moment of the blasts, or "images that create a feeling of panic". Many people reported being unable to access Twitter and other social media websites for several hours after the blasts. It was not clear if authorities had blocked access to the websites, but Turkey often does impose blackouts following attacks. Late on Saturday, US President Barack Obama spoke to Mr Erdogan on the phone to express his condolences and said Americans stood in solidarity with Turkish people "in the fight against terrorism". Footage from the moment of the first explosion showed a line of peaceful protesters chanting and holding hands - then running as soon as the bombs were detonated. According to eyewitnesses, body parts and bloodstains were scattered across a major road junction. Graphic images from the scene showed survivors resuscitating the wounded, and several dead bodies draped in flags. "There was a massacre in the middle of Ankara," said Lami Ozgen, the head of one of the trade unions involved in the rally. Turkey is facing multiple security threats - not just from homegrown leftist militants, but from IS fighters in Syria as well. Airstrikes have also been targeting the bases of Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) fighters in northern Iraq. An election is due to take place in Turkey on 1 November - and Mr Davutoglu has suspended campaigning for three days in light of the bombings.

President Barack Obama has offered Kanye West some tongue-in-cheek advice for saying he is planning to run for the White House in 2020. "In case Kanye is serious about this whole POTUS thing - or as he calls it, 'peezy' - I do have some advice for him," Mr Obama joked during a fundraising event in San Francisco at which the rapper was scheduled to perform. The President offered three tips for the would-be candidate. "First of all, you've got to spend a lot of time dealing with some strange characters who behave like they're on a reality TV show. So you've just to be cool with that." The second piece of advice made reference to a popular West album: "Saying that you have a 'Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' - that's what's known as 'off-message' in politics. A pros.titute identified as Precious Osas has been arrested for allegedly attacking her client inside a hotel in Okota area of Lagos.The 36-year-old pros.titute allegedly received N3500 from 25-year-old Chikwado Omokwa for all night se.x romp but the se.x worker refused to fulfill her promise because Omokwa was drunk. An aircraft that belonged to the Nigerian Air Force crashed in Yola, Adamawa state yesterday, killing all on board.
The identities of those on board have not been disclosed yet.
In a statement issued late last night, the spokesperson for the Air force, Air Commodore Dele Alonge, confirmed the accident, stating that the crash occurred at about 4:23pm and that it occurred due to bad weather.
He said the F7-Ni fighter jet, with registration number, NAF801, was “returning to base from a mission when it crashed around Hong, in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
He said: “There was no survival as the pilot of the aircraft lost his life in the unfortunate incident.”

This story is a shocking one. A friend of mine called Emanuel, told me his story of how he slept with a lady he suspected to be a snake in human form. TRAGIC: Prophet Kills Himself InChurch Over Rejection In Lagos

The irony of life! A man, identified simply as Prophet Wale, has killed himself in a Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Ona Iwa Mimo, on Otunba Bamidele Street, in the Ikotun area of Lagos.

According to PUNCH, the Prophet had approached the owner of the church, a prophetess, to be part of her ministry. He reportedly claimed to be a prophet and said he would love to assist her.
The woman rejected him and the Prophet became angry... He was said to have grabbed a bottle, broke it and stabbed himself in the neck.
The matter was reported at the Ikotun Police Division on Wednesday.
When Punch visited the community on Thursday, it was that many of the residents were reluctant to
discuss the incident. At the church, a man, who identified himself as Noah, declined comment.
He said no relatives of the woman who rejected him were available for comment.
“The prophetess family members are not available for now.
My phone is also dead; so I cannot even give you my
contact,” he said.
But some of the residents, who spoke on condition of
anonymity, confirmed the incident.
They said the victim’s death caused commotion on the
street, adding that policemen from Igando, Ikotun and Idimu
divisions trooped to the street in three vans.
A witness said, “It was around 5pm. I was passing by and I
saw a crowd of people on the church premises. Policemen
and three police vans from Ikotun, Idimu and Igando police
divisions were there.
“The police took the corpse and arrested the owner of the
church. I cannot tell what led to the death because I don’t
live with them. I don’t know the man. He is a stranger in
this community.”
Another resident said the victim was likely to be one of
those sleeping in the church.
“Many people sleep in that church and something could
have led to his death. It could have been frustration and it
might be something different,” he said.
A police source, however, revealed that: “The owner of the
church is claiming that she has never met the man before.
“She said the man just came to her and said he was a
pastor from Bayelsa State and he was living in Apapa, but
would like to be part of her ministry.
“She claimed that when she asked for his address, and
relatives, he did not answer her.
“When the woman refused to allow him, he brought out a
bottle, broke it and stabbed himself to death.”
The police source said the victim allegedly stabbed himself
in the neck and bled to death.
“He had a deep gash in his neck. But the woman’s
testimony is still under investigation and she is currently in
detention,” he added.
